While the revisions to the Season 2 missions were a step in the right direction, the system itself is still a buggy mess.
Uncompleted missions still intermittently bug out (where a subsequent login shows the bar filled erroneously (and the only way to fix it is to waste a mission re-roll).  Mission objectives that are also completed at the same time, will only reward the XP for one of them (the result is that you will lose a few tiers of pass progression when all 12 missions for that week are completed).  Completing any missions inside of instances will only reward the mission rewards but not give the pass XP.  All of this has been reported ad-nauseum with Gamigo representatives dulling noting that feedback and stating it has been forwarded to XLGAMES (and have done so again with recent reports).
The problem again is both developer XLGAMES (releasing such poor quality bug ridden code) and publisher Gamigo for not properly testing and validating these builds (there's a point where you need to hold the developer accountable by not quickly pushing out this problematic code and make sure key issues are addressed.  By just shoveling out these garbage builds, it only burdens the frontline support teams with even more tickets.
Gamigo is also showing signs that the revenues are dropping off since their running a 30% sale on the packs and are already running a double credit promotion for both ArcheAge and ArcheAge Unchained and also ran an APEX top up event for free to play ArcheAge.  These are of course the best times to purchase credits or APEX (since you get more bang for your buck).  The thing is they ran the double credit promotion without performing an associated marketplace update (of adding new stuff).  Instead, they removed one of the costumes that had previously been rebuffed by former Trion CM (and later, ArcheAge associate producer before being let go several months before Trion imploded) Celestrata, the demon kiss (aka succubus) costume.  Upon releasing ArcheAge Unchained, Gamigo relented and put the costume into the marketplace.  But they then remove it during this double credit sale.
The objective of these double credit sales events is to get purchasers to burn through them as opposed to purchasing when they are on sale, and then sitting on it for long periods of time.  And you need to plan this around updates to the shop as opposed to just running a sales event sans that.  But this isn't surprising because the personnel managing this have normally taken a short term approach so the decision was made from the perspective of getting that revenue bump for this quarter (so that the drop off from the initial launch numbers would not look as precipitous).  ArcheAge Unchained has a much more limited marketplace (and the prices for the same cosmetics are much higher in Unchained for obvious reasons) which makes it challenging for them when it comes to an ongoing revenue stream (the premium pass is supposed to address this).
They are just trying to tread water but my point is that eventually, the revenue intake is going to begin running thin and these sort of short term tactics aren't going to get the results they (especially the higher level executives) are expecting.
